This is definitely Glynis's favourite
material for making jewellery and it is also the most popular with all age
groups visiting the Mall. It's stunning beauty as a semi precious stone
really stands out in the crowd.
As well as running the Cafe daily, Glynis
still finds time to make stunning jewellery. Each piece is hand made and
totally individual.

Some information about Haematite (Hematite)
Haematite is known as a "stone for the mind". It is believed to bring mental
organization and is said to be very grounding and calming. It helps with
original thinking, logical thinking, and mathematics. It decreases negativity
and can help balance the body/mind/spirit.
Physically it has been used to keep the body cool, to decrease blood disorders,
nervous problems and insomnia, as well as align the spine and mend broken bones.
Haematite is associated with the root (base) chakra. Haematite is said to
be good at grounding out excess energy and acting as a stabilizing force.
Mineral and crystal healers associate Hematite with blood and use it in their
rituals for treating blood-related illnesses such as haemophilia, anaemia,
heart, kidney and liver diseases, cardio-vascular weakness, menstrual cramps,
and nose bleeds. They also recommend it for use in treating the stress of jet
lag, birth and surgery, tumours, insomnia, leg cramps, nervous disorders and
fevers. Hematite was also a Native American remedy for dental problems, pimples
and alcohol abuse.
Haematite stones are believed to bring about a calm mental state, improved
memory, better mental focus and concentration, boost self-confidence, and
